Our Missions Programs

  
    The people of Community United Methodist Church are concerned with helping all people in many different ways.  Our mission program includes a Second Mile offering on the second Sunday of each month that provides opportunities to help people recover from undesireable situations, such as those shown in the  right-hand column.

    Our United Methodist Women (UMW) support the General Chuch UMW mission projects, and our United Methodist Men support the Nothing But Nets program to wipe out malaria in Africa.

    Community UMC currently has one member in the mission field, Beverly Dawson, translating the Bible in New Guina, South America.  Another missionary, Charles (Chuck) Young, recently retired.
